World Restart a Heart Day (WRAH) is observed annually on October 16th to raise awareness about cardiac arrest and the importance of bystander intervention through Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Since its launch in 2018, supported by resuscitation councils worldwide, WRAH has aimed to teach as many people as possible the lifesaving skill of CPR.

The goal is simple: increase public awareness that immediate CPR can double or even triple the chances of survival when someone suffers a cardiac arrest.

Lifeline Foundation is proud to participate in this global movement to create a more prepared society, where anyone can be a hero in saving a life.

Why Participate?

Sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere, and every second matters. Sadly, only about 1 in 10 people survive cardiac arrest, but quick action by bystanders can dramatically increase survival rates. Learning hands-only CPR is simple yet powerful—it empowers you to take immediate action during those critical moments before medical help arrives.

At Lifeline Foundation, we’ve made it our mission to spread awareness about emergency care and train individuals to respond effectively in critical situations. As an International Training Centre of the American Heart Association (AHA), we specialize in Basic Life Support (BLS) training and have led multiple initiatives, including first aid workshops, trauma care training, and collaborations with top healthcare organizations to make life-saving education accessible to all.

This World Restart a Heart Day, we’re continuing our efforts to make Baroda a heart-safe city by training hundreds of individuals in hands-only CPR.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn a skill that could save a life. Whether you’re a student, professional, or a homemaker—everyone can benefit from knowing CPR. Together, let’s make our community safer.
