Mr Shukanto Das wins the 3rd prize in the “paper presentation category” at the 2nd Asian EMS Conference in Singapore; the paper showcased Lifeline’s work on First Aid training of school children in Baroda.

Dr Subroto Das was elected as Chair of South & Central Asian Chapter of the Singapore based Asian Association for EMS (AAEMS). He has been re-elected 4 times since then to the Post.

4th National Road Safety Award, by the Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport & Highways, GoI was awarded to Lifeline Foundation. Founding Trustees Ms Sushmita Das and Dr Subroto Das received the Award from Mr T Balu, Hon’ble Minister of Transport, GoI in Shimla.
Lifeline Foundation was nominated to National Road Safety Council, Government of India, 2006-08
Dr Subroto Das was also nominated to Trauma Committee, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India. -

Lifeline Foundation became the 4th Indian NGO, ever to win the UK based Prince Michael International Road Safety Award; the award was presented by Ms Sheila Dixit, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi.
AAPI (American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin) recognised the Highway Rescue Project (HRP) as a viable & replicable project at its annual convention at San Diego on 25th June.
British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) radio broadcasted a 30 min feature on the nation changing work of Lifeline Foundation on 25th July in its program "Health Matters".
Dutch Government Embassy in India "… commendable initiative by a private enterprise towards reducing mortality on the roads".
SAVER FOUNDATION, a Netherlands NGO, dedicated its annual calendar to Lifeline Foundation.
