Road Safety Training

Road Safety is integral to Lifeline Foundation’s activities since it pioneered the 4th E of Road Safety in India in 2002, creating India’s first highway accident helpline and also being the first to advocate a uniform emergency helpline number for the entire country and its highways.

Lifeline works closely with multiple stakeholders improving POST-ACCIDENT MANAGEMENT. Two of Lifeline’s key initiatives are training toll plaza incident management providers (ambulance personnel included) in on-scene care and care during transportation and schools, colleges and other institutions on highways; the other being TRAVEL ERGONOMIC trainings as part of human error related prevention of accidents.

The Foundation is now invested in Road Safety to address a never-before-attempted initiative supported by the Indian Oil Corporation – training highway stakeholders in HAZMAT INCIDENTS, accidents that involve chemical spillages.
