AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION

Lifeline Foundation was the first in Gujarat to advocate Basic Life Support (BLS®) courses as early as 2007.

Today, Lifeline is an International Training Centre of the American Heart Association (AHA), offering BLS® and Heart Saver courses that include training in chain of survival, high quality CPR, management of airway, usage of AED, relief from choking for adults, children and infant as per latest AHA guidelines.

A trainer trainee ration of 1:6 is strictly followed; all students are issued AHA reading material prior to course and e-cards are issued on successful completion of trainings.

These trainings are addressed to healthcare providers including doctors, nurses, paramedics, EMTs, medical students, fire and emergency service providers and are delivered by AHA certified instructors.

Lifeline Foundation is also a training partner of Heart and Stroke Foundation of India (HSFI), the Indian subsidiary of the AHA. Lifeline has helped train 35,000+ beneficiaries across India in ‘First Aid Everywhere’ and ‘Helping Children Survive’ modules for HSFI.
