Aastha Ambulance

For us, an ambulance is more than a vehicle—it is a critical link in the chain of survival.

Timely access to appropriate medical care can save lives. Aastha Ambulance provides safe, reliable and patient-centred inter-city and inter-facility transfers for patients requiring continued medical supervision during transportation.

Lifeline Foundation pioneered secondary transportation services for accident victims on highways, a first-of-its-kind initiative in the country. Over the years, these services have expanded to support patients from hospitals, industries, ports, mines and communities, ensuring access to definitive care when and where it is needed most.

Aastha Ambulance operates well-equipped Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances, offering a safe and dignified alternative to unregulated patient transportation services. Each transfer is planned with a focus on patient safety, comfort and continuity of care.

With support from corporate partners and community stakeholders, Lifeline Foundation transported more than 5,000 COVID-19 patients during the second wave in Gujarat. To date, over 6,000 patients requiring definitive life-saving care have been transferred from primary care facilities to tertiary care centres through subsidised ambulance services.
