Directorate General of Mines Safety

Lifeline Foundation is one of the few organisations in Western India recognised by the Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS) First Aid Training, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, to conduct First Aid Training for Mining Professionals. The programme is designed to equip mining personnel with the knowledge and practical skills required to effectively to respond medical emergencies in mining environments.

Conducted in accordance with DGMS guidelines, the training programme combines classroom learning, practical skill stations and simulation-based exercises to prepare participants for emergency situations commonly encountered in mining operations.

Since 2021, Lifeline Foundation has trained over 200 mining professionals from Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and other states through DGMS-certified First Aid Training programmes.
